Lyle is the shy photographer on Floor 2, in apartment 21’s dark room. He used to work with Sam. Kiss him both times he asks, and shut your eyes on the second kiss, or the wiki treats the meeting as a fight instead of a recruitment.

The photographer and the offering
Miraheze lists Lyle at level 6 with 184 HP and 4 attack. He cannot wear body or foot armor. His kit is photography: Film Bind is the skill name I will repeat, and the rest of the camera tree stays on his wiki page rather than copied into a second build guide.
After the kisses he waits in apartment 33. That is the recruitment, not a random hallway event. If you refuse him, the same article calls the result an optional boss. I am not printing a kill order, because no weakness row is published next to those HP figures.
Two objects matter more than the armor lock. Photo paper, and a photograph of the Visitor, are what the astronomers’ offering list needs from him. Aster’s request is the correct photograph. Lyle is how that paper exists in the run. The board game Mazes and Wizards is his, and it is a game on a table, not the Floor 1 labyrinth. I split those on purpose so the maze page does not send you hunting a janitor key in a cardboard dungeon.
Players searching “kiss Lyle” are asking for the eyes-closed step. That sentence is the whole trick the wiki gives. There is no second hidden dialogue I can verify, so I will not add one.
