Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load as soon as a page opens; no click is needed first. Pressing Reject in the banner turns all three off and stores that choice for 180 days, and Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner. YouTube is only contacted when you press play on a video.
What loads, and when
This site loads its analytics, session-replay and advertising tags by default. The banner is a notice and a way to withdraw, not a gate: a first-time visitor is treated as having granted permission, and the tags start on the first paint. Pressing Reject stops them and remembers the refusal for 180 days. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are read as Reject.
| Service | What it does | When it is contacted |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Counts page views and aggregate traffic sources for this guide | By default, on every page |
| Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) | Heat maps and session replay of clicks and scrolling | By default, on every page |
| Adsterra (Adsterra Network) | Serves the Native Banner inside articles and the Social Bar at the bottom of the screen | By default, on every page |
| YouTube (Google LLC) | Plays a trailer or guide clip | When you press play on a video |
| This site’s own pages and fonts | Show the guide with locally hosted font files | Every visit |
There is no tag manager, no AdSense and no other advertising network on this site. The only ad seller declared in ads.txt is Adsterra, publisher 3403020.

| YouTube / Google cookies | YouTube, once a clip is played | Playback preferences and view measurement | Vendor-defined; depends on playback and Google settings |
We cannot rename the cookies the vendors set: GA4, Clarity, Adsterra and YouTube choose their own names and durations, and the named identifiers follow the vendor references below; creative-specific identifiers vary. The two lox_consent entries are ours and are the only ones this site writes itself. You can delete them in your browser at any time; the next visit starts again from the default-on state.
Why we process this, and for how long
Analytics and replay help the editors understand which pages are read and where the layout needs improvement. Advertising funds the guide. The site technically loads these services by default and offers Reject in the banner and Cookie settings in the footer; this description records that behavior. Refusing does not block any guide content.
Vendor retention depends on the service and its configured settings. We have not independently confirmed a property-specific retention period for this deployment, so no fixed event or recording retention is stated here. Contact messages are used to respond to the request and retain a correction history; ask the mailbox to delete your message when it is no longer needed.
Adsterra may share identifiers with its creative and measurement partners under its privacy policy. The site’s Reject control stops subsequent analytics, replay and ad loading after a reload. Playback of a YouTube clip is a separate action. To manage Google advertising preferences, see Google Ad Settings.
Your choices, rights, and changes
Accept records permission and keeps the tags running. Reject reloads the page with the tags removed and stores the refusal for 180 days. Cookie settings in the footer brings the banner back so you can change either choice. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as Reject; the notice remains available. Deleting the lox_consent entries in your browser also resets the choice.
You can ask for a copy of any message you sent to [email protected], ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete the mailbox copy. You can also ask about analytics or advertising processing through the same address. Your browser controls and the vendor privacy notices below provide further choices.
The guide is an independent fan publication. Vendors may process data internationally under the terms and safeguards in their own notices. A change to this policy shows a new date at the top of the page. This version is dated 3 November 2026.
Questions
Do you sell personal data?
No. Adsterra is the only ad seller on the site, and the contact mailbox is for corrections and rights requests.
What happens if I press Reject?
GA4, Clarity and both Adsterra units stop, the page reloads without them, and the refusal is remembered for 180 days. Nothing on the guide is hidden.
Do I have to accept to read the guide?
No. Every page reads the same either way. The banner only tells you what loads and lets you turn it off.
