Frederic

Source coverage: 1 independent source, Miraheze Frederic; checked 3 November 2026. Empty cells mean the referenced table does not supply that field.

The quest is to kill the other Frederics. Rewards the wiki names: Canvas Carry Bag, Paint Palette, and the Stained Key, which opens the studio’s locked cabinet. Toxic Fred is the one tied to that key. I use those item names and stop. A damage chart for each copy is not on the summary I trust.

Two paintings matter for the ritual and they are not interchangeable. The cursed painting is a correct offering. The Wrapped Painting is a Mask offering, and after day 8 you cannot pick the wrapped one up. Day 8 is also the earthquake day on the calendar, when Charan is gone. I mention the date so the painting deadline is not a vibe.

“Nice scared Frederic” and “Frederic home” are searches about how you treat the copies. The page’s instruction is still the hunt. I will not add a pacifist route I cannot cite.

He is easy to confuse with the astronomers because both groups studied the thing outside. Frederic’s tool was paint. Theirs were discs and a photograph. Different offerings, different NPCs.

Canvas Carry Bag, Paint Palette, and Stained Key are the reward names I will stand behind. Toxic Fred is the copy tied to the cabinet. A pacifist reading of “nice scared Frederic” is not a route I can cite, so it stays out of the steps.
