Antagonist
The Visitor
Last checked 2026-11-03
The Visitor is the being outside the building. People who look at its light change. The usual view is a moon-sized eye. The roof is where the last choice happens: look, look away, or attack.

What the public pages agree on
Steam’s store text frames the game as fifteen days inside an apartment while something outside warps anyone who sees it. The Miraheze article on the Visitor goes further: Earth is described as a splinter of that being’s body. I print both, because the store line is the pitch and the wiki line is the lore page players actually cite.
You cannot recruit it. It is not a party member, and it has no published row for health, stamina, or a level. The only combat note I will repeat is the one the wiki gives for the ending fight: an opening attack, then a last battle that includes the party. Shadow damage is listed at 20% resistance. No elemental weakness is written down, so the weakness cell stays empty.
Four offerings have to be the right ones before the roof question matters. The question, on the Perfect Ritual path, is whether you look (Truth) or look away (Denial). A separate attack route is what the endings page calls the way into the Final True Ending. That route has its own conditions — a violent streak, the in-game RPG, and a damage check — and those belong on the endings table, not as a guess here.
Sybil, Aster, Jasper, Beryl, and Aurelius are the names tied to the astronomers who studied it. Sybil is the one the wiki says looked first, then wiped her own memory. Her body and the Meat World are the same article’s claim. I link her page rather than retell that twice.
Patch 2.3’s notes, as summarized on the wiki’s version history, add the Visitor to the end-of-run boss counter. That is a UI change, not a new biography. I am not treating the counter as proof of a second form.
Questions
Is the Visitor a companion?
No. The wiki lists it as not recruitable.
Can you see more than the eye?
The wiki says a moon-sized eye is what is normally visible. A fuller reveal is part of the ending routes, which I keep behind the endings page.
