The Roaches are a swarm that acts as one companion. Bring a roach back to apartment 33, leave food on the table, and sleep. The food is gone in the morning. Repeat until they are in the bathroom and can be welcomed.

One member, many insects

The sheet starts them at level 8, which is higher than most early recruits: 155 HP, 4 attack. Swarm has three levels. Roach Shield and RoachSchism are the other names I will print. I am not assigning a damage number to each swarm rank. The article names the skills and the level, and that is the row.

You can also attack them. Pet, eat, squish, and fumigate are the interactions the page lists. Welcoming them is the recruit. Fumigating is the opposite. I will not pretend those verbs are flavor. They decide whether a party slot appears.

Food left on the table is also how leftovers and roommates interact on the cooking page. The roach loop consumes that food when Sam sleeps. If breakfast vanished, it might be the swarm, or it might be Leigh on Cursed. The cause depends on which guest you invited. I only claim the roach rule when you have started the infestation.

They are not the Rat Child, not Rafta’s worms, and not the Garbage Worm. Insect, not rodent, not the janitor’s key.

Swarm ranks three deep, plus Roach Shield and RoachSchism. Level 8 at the start is unusually high for a bathroom guest. Fumigate and squish are refusals. Pet and welcome are the other door. Food on the table is the overnight cost, and only after you began this infestation.
