Phillippe — often searched as Philippe — is the man in the Fungal Lair under the building. He can stand with you during that quest. Staying in the party after the lair depends on the choices the wiki lists, not on a single button.

Spores, then a permanent seat

The sheet I will quote is level 4, 158 HP, 5 attack, from the Miraheze companion row. Skills named there move from Dust Cloud to Spore Cloud, plus Spore Poison, Mycelium, and Consume. I am not ranking those against Hellen’s cleaver. Different floors, different jobs.

Temporary help and a permanent recruit are two outcomes. Saving him during the Fungal Lair line is the first. The permanent flag is the quest’s later branch, including the Spore Mother. If a guide video says “just talk to him,” I do not promote that over the wiki’s branch, because the wiki is the page that separates the two outcomes.

The lair also hides the Neptune disc, which is a different search. Neptune’s number is 16 and it belongs on the disc table. Phillippe is not the disc. People land on his name from “fungus” and then ask about the door math. I link the disc page instead of pretending he drops Neptune.

Misspellings Phillippe and Philippe both point here. I use the wiki’s spelling in the heading and the search spelling in the first sentence so neither query looks like a different man.
